Philly Man At Large After Fatally Stabbing Victim In Bridgeton: Police

A 36-year-old Philadelphia man is at large after he stabbed a man in Bridgeton on Tuesday, March 11, authorities said.

At 9:45 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of South Avenue after Kenneth Tripline kicked in a door and stabbed Elliot Handy, 28, in the torso, Bridgeton police said.

Handy was taken to Inspira Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.

Tripline has been charged with murder and weapons offenses, police said. He is considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Handy and Tripline knew each other, police said, and the stabbing is considered an isolated incident.
